As expected, Magnetic Fields Festival (hosted in the gorgeous Alsisar Mahal, Rajasthan) was an ethereal and immersive experience of underground music, art and quaint Rajasthani culture. Here are the beautiful pictures to prove it.

The third edition of the festival was bigger and brighter than ever with an enviable line-up of incredible live acts like RATATAT, HVOB, Shigeto and Garden City Movement alongside some of the world’s best DJs and producers like DJ Koze, Hunee, Objekt, Mumdance and Palms Trax for an audience that had gathered in Alsisar from all corners of the world.

Once again the Mahal came alive with fantastic music and food (wood fire pizza anyone?), stargazing sessions, morning Yoga, art installations, dusk till dawn parties, tea parties by the pool, afternoon henna sessions and the infamous Magnetic Fields Festival treasure hunt!

6. Mike Stroud of of the American rocktronica band RATATAT, (who released their fifth album, ‘Magnifieque’ earlier in the year), played to an audience who travelled from far and wide. Safe to say their performance was filled with those groovy beats and beastly guitar riffs, everything you’d expect a RATATAT gig to be.
