10 Heads Festival will debut this month with a stellar line-up, including the likes of Daddy G, Indian Ocean, Lucky Ali and more!

The 10 head’s festival musical offshoot or ‘head’ termed Band Baja Bass is all set to feature some fantastic artists. Scheduled to take place between October 22 and 25 at the Dhanchiri Camping Resort in Delhi, Daddy G from Massive Attack fame will be the international headliner of the festival. The bristol-born DJ and producer is mostly known for his ground-breaking work with the world’s favourite experimental rock and trip-hop band and also has a mean solo dj-ing career as he experiments with a lot of reggae, electronica and bass music. This will be his maiden tour to India, beginning with his first performance at the 10 Heads festival before making his way to clubs in Mumbai and Bangalore.

As the aim of Band Baaja Bass ‘seeks to draw a bridge between Indies and the mainstream’  a bunch of revered contemporary Indian artists will also be performing at the festival. From Lucky Ali’s catchy ballads, Indian Ocean’s fusion rock, Pratyul Joshi’s folksy music to Midival Punditz electronica explosion, Band Baaja Bass will be Delhi’s music festival to reckon with.

The finale will feature Indian rapper and hit-maker Badshah– for the first-time ever in music festival format. The artist who currently rules dance-floors and clubs across the country will do performing a special set along with mega-hits such as Abhi Toh Parti Shuru Hui Hai, DJ Waale Babu both featuring Aastha Gill along with 2 live dhols, a DJ and others.

The final day will also feature the current toast of Indian electronica’s bass heavy movement – Akshay Johar aka Mojojojo. Johar has just come out with his bi-lingual debut album titled Shots Fired which has received a thumps-up from Indian Electronica pioneers, as well as the audience.
