The festival has added more artists to their already diverse line-up!

GOAT Festival is all about showcasing the alternative side of India’s art, culture, fashion and obviously music. A music festival similar to those held in GOAT’s HQ city of London, England, this festival will be something unlike anything that India has seen.

The festival will be taking place in Goa from the 27th to the 29th of January 2017 and has already attracted audiences when the Phase 1 line-up was announced which includes Gilles Peterson, Sarathy Korwar and his band, Cape Town rapper Dope St Jude, New Zealand soul electronic five-piece act Sorceress, Medlar, jazz duo Yussef Kamaal, Kuenta I Tambu and more.

Without further ado, the artists announced in Phase 2 are disco and house trio Hercules & Love Affair, African dance-music outfit Afriquoi and international music collective The Turbans. Representing India will be techno producer DJ BLOT!, reggae singer Delhi Sultanate along with previously announced live electronic acts like Sandunes, Aqua Dominatrix, Madboy/Mink, Kumail and Donn Bhat+Passenger Revelator.

Bangalore-based visual artist Shilo Shiv Suleman will have team of artists setting up installations all over the venue. Other workshops will include dance, artwork, water sports, pop-up restaurants, storytelling and a special head-dress workshop by Little ShilpaShe has previously worked with Lady Gaga!

Yin and Yang Yoga will have an interesting sound bathing session with alternative music therapy using sound and sound wave vibrations while Marbles and Ware Collection will be setting up a secret forest garden for all hippies at heart to find their own spirit animal.

The festival will feature two stages alongside three alternative performance spaces where the musicians can weave their magic. And, you don’t have to worry about packing up post 10 pm because the festival will continue its celebrations at two night-time venues close to the festival grounds.
