‘The Cave’ is coming to New York this November with a line-up packed with techno legends
When Germany’s hallowed Time Warp festival announced Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx as the venue for its US debut on November 28-29, the coup seemed too good to be true. Eventually, plans to hold the techno weekender in the historic venue were foiled and according to a report in The New York Daily News , Time Warp failed to secure the permits necessary to hold the two-night event.
But finally, Time Warp fans have some good news to rejoice over as a new location for the festival has just been announced. The North American debut of the event will be held at 39th Street Pier, South Brooklyn over Thanksgiving weekend, November 28 – 29.
Located along the Bay Ridge Channel in Sunset Park, 39th Street Pier provides the perfect space to create the spectacular techno haven that Time Warp is known for. The festival will also bring The Cave, a stunning full-floor design concept which was modeled after an arctic ice cave, unifying the stage stage and dance floor, and allowing the sonic textures of underground techno to come alive.
