2015 was a massive year for electronic music, as music festivals around the world were dominated by electronic sounds, and dance music artistes stole the headlines. The SnowGlobe festival is held in California  around New Year’s Eve and provides one of the most amazing spectacles amid freezing temperatures. Last year, Flume brought in the New Year in a spectacular fashion, by dropping his phenomenal hit ‘You & Me’ right when the clock struck twelve. This year Jack U, Kaskade, Dillon Francis and Chet Faker will be headlining the event.

2. Awakenings, Amsterdam

Every December 31, thousands of travellers and enthusiasts travel to Reykyavik, Iceland to witness this beautiful phenomenon of nature accompanied by fireworks (that are only allowed to be used on December 31). The icelandic landscape and Northern lights create the perfect technicolour background for the fireworks show, making it one of the most beautiful New Year’s Eves in the world.
