As a torrential storm washes out Day 3 of the first edition of New York’s new music festival, stranded vehicles leave campers upset. Β Β 
The three-day Hudson Project music festival came to an abrupt and early end Sunday as storms with heavy rain raked the concert site. There was a considerable hype around the fresh festival in it’s first year, after pulling in the likes of Kendrick Lamar & Bassnectar in it’s impressive line – up. line up Β 

Unfortunately, hordes of disappointed electronic fans had to pack their bags as Day 3, along with Bassnectar’s headlining performance, had to be cancelled due to excessive torrential rain that stormed through the camp sites, leaving people and their vehicles stranded. The campsite was completely sabotaged, but a few festival goers decided to kick off their own private party in a sticky mud ridden pool.

As festival organizers struggled to evacuate attendees, many took their outrage to Twitter where they cited other festivals, like last year’s Governor’s Ball, that soldiered on through similar downpours. Β 

 

 

 

The festival is going to be providing refunds to the festival attendees, as announced on their Facebook page. A forgettable first edition for a new festival organized on the hallowed Woodstock 94’ grounds.
