As one of the top hardstyle DJs in Vancouver and across the globe Felix Cartal is all set to tour India for the 1st time this November thanks to Submerge.
Felix who is not afraid to take risks with his musichas often left the comfortable confines of house music to remix artists like Crystal Fighters (for their hit Plague) and Will.i.am (an edit of the Wolfgang Gartner-produced Forever). His remix of Steve Aoki and Tiestoβs Tornado is a major example of the Canadianβs skills.
Felix (real name Taelor Deitcher) who is quickly becoming a major player in the electro house scene because of his hard-hitting tracks combined with his ability to foster creative collaborations makes him one of the industry`s most sought-after performers. He has fused influences from European giants like Vitalic and darker producers like MSTRKRFT into a sound entirely his own.
His original work is also unrelentingly popular. Felixβs last two studio albums 2010s Popular Music and 2012s Different Faces garnered much acclaim from blogs worldwide. Tracks like The Joker Cascade (a collaboration with Bart B. More) and the intense chiptune-inspired βWe are all aliensβ showcases the artist`s style and adds substance to the ever-expanding vocabulary of electro house. Along the way heβs put out releases for Dim Mak Lektroluv and Boys noize. He has tracks produced by Zedd & has remixed tracks for βThe Bloody beetrootsβ as well.
