The 8th edition of the Jagran Film Festival will kick off with the grand inaugural screening of “The Fakir of Venice”.
With only a few days left for the weekend that marks the beginning of the much awaited Jagran Film Festival, film fanatics are greeted with a pleasant surprise. Farhan Akhtar starrer, “The Fakir of Venice” will set the festival in motion with it being the inaugural film screening this year. The film has been directed by Anand Surapur and is an unconventional tale ofΒ 2 common men, played by Farhan Akhtar and Annu Kapoor, who are hired to find a poor guy to be represented in Venice with the intent of pulling off a scam.

The 8th Jagran Film Festival is slated to take place from Saturday, 1st July to Wednesday, 5th July atΒ Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi, 10 am onwards.
