Grand Theft Auto or simply GTA is one of the biggest franchises of Rockstar games and also the entire gaming industry. It’s last release, GTA 5, has been a huge hit ever since its release back in 2013.
The game is still going strong in 2021 after it was released on next-gen consoles with improved graphics and design. Everybody was expecting a reveal for GTA 6 on the next-gen consoles during the PS5 game showcase, instead, they got GTA 5 and GTA online on the next-gen consoles.
But now everyone is waiting for the new installment in the series and even the fans know that this is going to take time.
There has been no official announcement from the developer about GTA 6 yet. The answer to when is GTA 6 coming out isn’t clear but there have been many leaks and rumors about the release date. Many people believe that it will be released somewhere around 2023-24. 10 years for a new installment is surely a long time but no one is complaining as they know that it takes time to make a game of a level that GTA 6 is going to be.
Leaks have also shown that the game will be based in Miami around the 1970s and will follow a single protagonist and will have a chaptered story just like the other popular Rockstar games, Red Dead Redemption 2.
