The festival site is located in the Ta Qali area, one of the most beautiful parts of the island.Β Situated in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, the sun kissed island of Malta enjoys over 300 days of sun a year, clear blue waters, stunning beaches and easy going island life – making it the perfect festival holiday destination.
Aside from enjoying a holiday soundtrack provided by an ever evolving line-up of global musicians, beach and boat parties, festival-goers can also spend time snorkelling, diving or taking a trip around the islands, to sample the local cuisine or visit one of the nearby incredible beaches such as Gozo or Comino.

1. Book your flights now for the best deals!
The only airport on the island is the Malta International Airport (MLA) so a return flight from Mumbai will cost you somewhere about INR 57,500/- to INR 60,000/-.
2. Get your festival tickets before they get sold out!
The tickets for The Sound You Need are an incredible value for money as a GA Pass costs you onlyΒ Β£110.39 or approximately INR 9750/-. If you wish to upgrade your experience a bit, you can get a VIP ticket atΒ Β£166.14 which is about INR 14,660/-. What’s better? Your festival tickets are included in theΒ accommodation package crafted specially for anyone booking them through The Sherp. So don’t think about it, just do it!
3. Figure out your accommodation well in advance.
Our package provides you a stay at theΒ Topaz Hotel (3 Star), a stone’s throw away from the beach in St. Paul’s Bay. First opened in 1987, the hotel is 700 metres from Bugibbaβs main square and 800 meters from Bugibbaβs seafront promenade and its rocky beach. The Malta National Aquarium, the Empire Cinemas as well as the Bird Park are also in the vicinity of the hotel.
There are two room sizes you can choose from Double Bed Standard and Triple Bed Standard.

5. Plan out your total spending on food and drink.
With you spending at least 5 days in Malta, you should set aside about INR 10,000/- for all your F&B needs. You can also save money by not eating/drinking at the festival but rather at cheaper joints outside or buying food from the supermarket.
6. Malta is incredibly beautiful so try to get a little sightseeing done.
Besides beaches, Malta is known for several Archaeological treasures, museums and architecture. Wherever you decide to go, make sure to pre book your stay so you can travel hassle free.
