Brilliant news for all you wub-wubbers!
Dubstep daddy and co-founder of Circus Records, Joshua Steele better known as Flux Pavilion will be in India this January for Oji’s second chapter of ‘Escalate’ . This will be his maiden tour to India and will be playing in two cities.
The English producer has been an integral part of the dubstep scene since 2008, whose claim to fame ‘Bass Cannon’ peaked the UK Singles Chart in 2011. He is also (most recently) known for the smashing remix of Kanye West and Jay Z’s ‘Who Gon Stop Me’ from their ‘Watch the throne’ album.
For those of you who don’t know, this UK bass master has often incorporated his own singing and instrumental talent into his music, which has given him a definite edge above other dubstep DJs.
Oji’s main man Mikhail Mehra gave us his two cents, “Skream and Benga are a tough act to follow but if there’s anyone that’s up to the task, its Flux Pavilion. I’ve seen him headline EDC in Vegas, Ultra in Miami and a sweatbox warehouse in North London. The man knows how to push a crowd to the absolute max.”
Apart from getting exclusive plays from other Dub daddies like Caspa, Rusko and Plastician, he also earned some raving reviews for his EP ‘Blow The Roof’ which he released in January.
Here are a few of his best tracks :
The dates, venues and cities will be announced soon, so keep watching this space for updates.
