Following a long and extended period wherein the festival faced difficulties receiving appropriate permits to continue at Randall’s Island this year, there’s good news.
The festival scenario in the USA is absolutely bonkers this season. But, don’t scrap Electric Zoo off your calendars – as the festival has indeed obtained the required permits to carry on this year in New York.
As reported earlier, Made Events (the organizers) have beefed up the security facilities at this year’s edition in order to avoid the fiasco they underwent last year. This is just one of the numerous alterations they have planned to execute at this year’s edition.
The final permit was granted by the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, as announced on the festival’s official Facebook page yesterday.
The Festival will be held at Randall’s Island Park, New York on August 29 – 30 – 31. 3-day passes are being sold at a special discounted rate for a specific period only, head here to get the ‘code’ you require to purchase them at these prices.
