Well, we’re here. It’s the long weekend, and the weather has eased up – the sun is here to shine. That can only mean one thing; the start of festival season in Toronto. And what better way to kick that off than Electric Island‘s 2016 return on Monday, May 23. It’s the same Electric Island you know, taking place on Toronto Island with an impressive rooster of artists, split into 6 series.

May’s long weekend lineup consists of acts like legendary German producer, Sven VΓ€th, Jamie Jones, DJ Tennis, Job Jobse, and Toronto favourite, Jonathan Rosa. The concert + picnic series will stay true to its description and provide and experience where you can lay a blanket on the ground and have a good time with some buddies and more; or move towards the stage where you’ll receive a more energetic vibe with thousands of fans dancing on their feet.

As with all Electric Island series, this too will see the return of food trucks and other extra-curricular activities, like last year’s ping-pong and water-vapour castle. Definitely a personal favourite of The Sherp’s, we highly recommend you give it a shot this Monday, if you’re not already a loyal fan.
