The festival scene in India just got lit! OML & Breezer announces Breezer Vivid Shuffle – India’s first only Hip-Hop Festival.
Breezer and Only Much Louder (OML) have now joined hands together and are all set to rake in on the growing hip-hop fandom as they announce the launch of ‘Breezer Vivid Shuffle’, India’s biggest hip-hop dance festival.
In the past few years with several hip-hop artists breaking-out in India, the already renowned dance form has managed to gain itself a fandom with the residentiaries. The once-underground dance form has now found itself a mass appeal in metros and small towns alike. And now, with Hip-Hop artists being idolised and even headlining music festivals, the pacing multiplication of its fan following only suggests that the art form is here to stay!
Breezer Vivid Shuffle is not only a medium that highlights Breezer’s commitment to support popular music culture but is also a platform for millennials across India to set the stage ablaze in a competition with 5 regional rounds and one grand finale.
Roping in Bollywood’s leading actor Varun Dhawan as an influencer, Breezer Vivid Shuffle aims at reaching out to a larger audience base. Talking about the same, Anshuman Goenka, Head of Marketing at Bacardi India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Varun Dhawan (actor) is the perfect choice as an influencer to take forward the Live Life in Colour philosophy of Breezer to the millennials. He has established himself as one of the most promising actors in the industry, won multiple awards and is a fun-loving personality embodying the values of Breezer.”
“If there’s one musical trend we’ve seen over the last few years, it’s the rise of hip-hop culture. What’s amazing to see is that this isn’t just music for music’s sake – there are political messages, stories of growing up and much more, in languages as diverse as Marathi and Malayalam.“, says Vijay Nair, CEO of Only Much Louder.
Apart from having a whopping amount as a cash prize for the winners, the hip-hop festival also promises international judges specialising in each category judging the participants during the regional rounds, followed by the finale round.
