This October, you’re in for a treat!
Texas will be prepping for its annual two-weekend music party, Austin City Limits Music Festival taking place in Austin’s famous Zilker Park from the 6th-8th and 13th-15th of October!
The edition is gearing up to be an iconic one with a line-up of artists like Jay Z, The Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance The Rapper, Gorillaz, Foster the People, The XX, Martin Garrix, Tove Lo, Vance Joy, Royal Blood and many more! See the line-up here:
The madness will be spread out over a few days but there will also be an Art Market, a mini-fest for kids, charging stations and much more. Look at the 2016 edition Aftermovie to see what you could expect:

1. Festival Tickets

Sadly, the tickets for the first weekend have been sold out! But tickets for the second weekend are still available. The General admission rates are for $255 dollars which is around INR 16,450. There are a number of other options for the different admission tickets which you can check out here.
2. Flight Tickets

Booking your tickets to Austin won’t be difficult as compared to the harsh visa application process (Thanks Trump) but if you book you tickets sooner, they won’t cost you more than INR 80,000 for a return ticket. See the current options from SkyScanner:

3. StayΒ

The festival has a few bundle packages that include stay at a near by hotel for prices starting from $999 or INR 64,450 for one person. Now there are a bunch of options you could choose from but if it’s a bit out of your budget, there are a bunch of Airbnb options starting from INR 21,000 for the entire stay.

The locations are all walkable distances from the festival so don’t worry about spending more on a ride back and forth.
4. Food & Beverages

The festival has more than 30 various food stalls at the ACL Eats Food Court and you won’t be disappointed! Everything from street food to high end gourmet meals will be leaving you confused about which one to try first! Our advice would be to carry approx. $300 which will be around INR 19,350. You’ll need it especially if you’re going to be boozing.
5. The Total
After our rough calculation, the cost for one person to have the best time at Austin City Limits will be INR 1,45,800 which is actually not that bad!
