Another Pune edition. Another page in our book of fond memories.Β

It’s that time of the year! Bacardi Nh7 Weekender is back in Pune and we can’t stop counting the days. This Pune edition will go down on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December, 2017, at the Mahalaxmi Lawns. If you attended the festival last year, then it’s important to note that the venue has changed and it is a whole new and improved one this time around. Get your tickets to the festival right here.Β

And, to add to the frenzy, they have a line-up that looks to outshine its predecessor editions. We’re talking Steve Vai, Marky Ramone, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Indian Ocean, et many many more.

Because we are sure you are as excited as we are, the Sherp has prepared a rough budget plan to prepare you for the expenses that you might have to look into before, during and after the festival. So let’s begin:

Mumbai peeps can either opt to drive down to Pune or hop into a Shivneri Bus (for those aliens who haven’t heard of this service, Shivneri buses are AC buses that leave from Dadar TT, Mumbai, every 15 minutes). You also have the option of taking a train from Mumbai to Pune, which will approximately take you around anywhere between 3 to 4 hours. The recommended trains are the Intercity Express and the Deccan Express.Β

Accommodation

Nothing like Airbnb to get you a cozy and comfy accommodation for the three days of your stay (a fourth day if you do not wish to travel on 10th December after the festival). Here are a few Airbnb’s that you can check out around the vicinity of the venue – Mahalaxmi Lawns:

From the accommodation, you can book yourself into an Uber/Ola/Rickshaw and hitch a ride to the venue. This should cost you anywhere between 150-300 bucks on an estimate.

Food And Beverage

The festival is where you’ll do most of the eating and drinking duties. With a wide variety of cuisines available throughout the day, we can safely assume that you’d be spending around INR 1500 per day inside the festival. Add to that other miscellaneous expenditures you’ll incur for other meals throughout the day. So your F&B expenditure would roughly be around INR 4500 for the three days.
