This year’s Bonnaroo lineup just got a whole lot wilder with the announcement of the festival’s annual, cross-genre “Superjams.” The First edition featuring Skrillex & Friends!

As the days tick away until the June 12 start of Bonnaroo 2014, the news is coming fast and furious. Just this week has brought the release of the daily schedule, a number of artist additions, and the beginning of single-day ticket sales. On May 7, Bonnaroo delivered its latest piece of the lineup puzzle, unveiling details and special guests for all three of the year’s Superjams. A Superjam is an annual Bonnaroo tradition that unites a variety of artists for a one-off collaborative performance.

Here are the 3 Superjams that are scheduled for this year:

The first one features ‘Skrillex & Friends‘ & The guest lineup kicks off with two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame powerhouses in Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart and The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger. Keeping up the parade of musicians from diverse genre backgrounds are Damian Marley, Janelle Monae, Chance the Rapper, Zedd, Big Gigantic, Warpaint, and Thundercat. Although EDM is not quite a part of Bonnaroo culture, it’s great to see a performance with such a range of diverse artists.
