On 11 November, you can catch the maestro, A.R. Rahman, perform live with Bollywoods’ biggest composers and nine YouTube stars at NSCI, Dome, Mumbai.

Qyuki, a digital content company co-founded by Rahman, is the brainchild behind this initiative. The music collaboration, named Jammin’, is a platform that allows digital musical collaboration between leading YouTube musicians and Bollywood’s iconic composers such as A R Rahman, Salim-Sulaiman, Clinton Cerejo, and Mithoon.

Satya Raghavan, head of entertainment, YouTube, India, says, “Jammin’ is a collaboration between Bollywood’s great composers and YouTube stars. It will feature 10 songs and will give a lot of encouragement to aspiring YouTube creators and make them believe that such opportunities will also come in their lives.”

It is the first collaboration of its kind to take place in Mumbai and some of talent that will be a part of the event include Sanam (a band), Shraddha Sharma, Siddharth Slathia, Jonita Gandhi, Arjun Kanungo, Maati Baani, Sanah Moidutty, and Raaga Trippin. The mega concert will feature 10 original soundtracks and all the music videos will be curated on the Jammin’ channel on YouTube.

“Jammin’ has spawned a new genre of music that we like to call ‘non-film Bollywood’ by bringing together mainstream composers with YouTube stars to create original compositions that typically would be commissioned for a blockbuster film,” Samir Bangara, co-founder and Managing Director of Qyuki, said in a statement.

The concert is a free seating event within the category of ticket purchased. Seating will be on first come first served basis. You can get more details about the event on BookmyShow. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to watch the greats live in action, do you. Watch the promo here:
