The iconic venue is soon opening branches in two more Indian cities.

The much-adored live music venue in Mumbai, blueFROG, is gradually expanding its operations in India. In 2011, it opened a bigger and more flamboyant version of the Mumbai equivalent in New Delhi. In Mumbai, it has been the backbone of the city’s pulsating live music scene for the last six years! In both the cities, it has been consistently covering an array of genres including funk, blues, jazz, soul, electronic, rock, hip-hop and many more.

They have now announced Pune and Chandigarh as the new cities to be graced by blueFROG’s signature experience. Co-founder of blueFROG, Mahesh Mathai, sees Pune as a big market as the Mumbai gig-goers do not mind making a trip to Pune for big gigs. Also, great news for your wallet! You will be spending less on gig-nights due to Pune’s relatively low entertainment taxes. Chandigarh boasts a throbbing nightlife as well. Also, its proximity to Delhi is an added advantage.

So gear up for more enthusiastic weekends in your city this year!
