Delhiites, get ready to ink up this weekend as you celebrate and part-take in the biggest tattoo festival in India! After a roaring reception from the first edition last year, the Heartwork Tattoo Festival is back in New Delhi. Bringing you international artists from around the world, the festival is said to boost the tattoo scene in the country and put it on the world map for tattoos. The three-day festival will feature over a 100 artists in over a 100 booths, showcasing a range of different styles, designs as well as workshops for aspiring tattoo artists. You can also enjoy some live music as you browse through and explore the different artwork.
The festival will be happening over the weekend from the 2nd to the 4th of December, 2016 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium and will also feature on-the-spot competitions across multiple categories on all three days. Thanks to the excitement of last year’s festival, many artists have already begun creating customised designs with personal storiesΒ for this year’s competition.

Speaking about the motivation behind the festival,Β organiser Arvind Garg said, “With this effort, Indian artists will be able to showcase their skills, which are seen at the international level. Now, we can see more and more Indian artists being sponsored by international brands.”
