Great news, Lucid (The guys who brought to our shores artists like Bakermat, Liar, Project 46, Max Cooper amongst others as part of their ‘Space’ property) along with the help of Royalty & Bacardi, have decided to venture into a new music zone – bass heavy, dubstepy sounds under a new property christened ‘Hard Days’. And to celebrate they are throwing a massive party with none other than British bass-masters Bare Noize.
For those of you who don’t know who Bare Noize are, here is the lowdown – Starting off in 2009, these two Brits rose to fame almost instantly thanks to their amazing audio engineering skills, ability to seamlessly combine multiple instruments and a ear for precision production to produce a sound that was well received by dubstep fans not just in the UK but around the world. But their real break came when London based production duo the Foreign Beggars asked them to remix a track for their label ‘Dented’ which took Bare Noize’s stature to the next level and got them a lot of international attention by major labels such as Atlantic Records, Polydor and more. They even got the interest of Skrillex who collaborated with them for two tracks on his ‘Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites’ album.
By 2011 they were right on top of the British Dubstep food chain remixing tracks for the likes of Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding and even Lady Gaga.
Bare Noize will be bringing their amazing music to Mumbai on the 28th of March at Royalty, Bandra.
So if dub is what you crave for then this is the gig to be at. Keep your eyes on The Sherp for more details and till then here are some of their tracks to keep you going…
