Bandraites, it’s time to celebrate All That Jazz this July.

Jazz may be a dying art, but for those of us who love it, it will always remain alive. Whether it’s the First Lady Of Song- Ella Fitzgerald herself or riveting jazz stylings of Miles Davis; jazz musicians of yesteryears put into perspective just how much music of today has drastically changed.

For those of you who pine for the wonder era as much as we do, you’re in luck! The Bombay Jazz Club and Rat Pack Songbook are all set to take you back to an age when musical expression dominated the industry. Presenting Ziziland Jazz Festival, an event that plans to open up a magical wonderland, as you experience sounds that take you away to another place.

From young jazz cats to the genre’s maestros,  the fest aims to bring together the young and old jazz enthusiasts, on the 8th of July at St. Andrew’s Auditorium, as some of India’s jazz greats pay tribute to the biggest jazz legends ever!

With their first show, at 6pm, 100 YEARS OF ELLA FITZGERALD, the showcase will celebrate the queen of jazz in all her glory with the help of one of the best jazz vocalists in India-Samantha Edwards. Watch her bring Ella alive on stage with the help of enormously talented D.Wood, Karim Ellaboudi and Aron Nyiro.

The second show, THE RAT PACK SONGBOOK, at 8pm, aims to captivate the pulsating genre with the help of Jazz Guru, jazz pianist/keyboardist Louiz Banks featuring Numero UNO bassist Sheldon D’Silva, incredible rhythm machine Gino Banks on Drums with the massively talented Gary Lawyer.
