Afropunk London got rave reviews, after their 2016 edition, with a strong headliner inย Grace Jones at the Alexandra Palace.ย And now, it seems that the festival is back for another round!
The organizers have announced that the festival will be making its way to London this summer on the 22nd and 23rd of July and we can’t wait! The line-up has yet to be revealed but if last year was any indication, you can expect it to be filled with talented artists who aren’t afraid to be fearless. Check out their 2016 After Movie below:
The festival was applauded for the emphasis it placed on black culture and diversity, not just in the music business, but also in the world in general.ย The festival was filled with a vibe that promoted love and not hate, but after the chaos which was 2016, we’re hoping for an even bolder statement from the festival this time around.
