BLESS CORGIS!
Hold on a minute, you’re telling us there are puppy and cat film festivals, sea turtle and elephant appreciation events, and now we get a Corgi-themed beach party? Excuse The Sherp, while he squeals in delight.
The themed beach party took place on April 9, in California on the SoCal Corgi Beach Day. This event has been dedicated to the special mutts, and takes place several times in a year, much to everyone’s delight. This month’sΒ pawfect event brought together Corgi dog owners and their furry friends for a fun-filled adventure!
600 Corgis were in attendance, which means the adorable factor was sky-rocketing . The party/festival featured hilarious and aww-worthy activities like a Corgi kissing booth, a costume contest, a talent show and the best ‘corgi butt’ competition! Dog owners upped the delightful quotient by dressing their pets in bikinis and other hilarious outfits!
The best part about this happy and furry event, was that proceeds from merchandise went to a dog rescue organisation, that rehabilitates castaway corgis and finds them homes.
