Over the last 20 years ADE has become the leading platform for the international dance scene. It’s considered one of the most important events in the dance music scene, featuring emerging talents as well as the most recent work of electronic music’s pioneers.
For the festival’s 20th anniversary, over 365 thousand attendees showed up to the venues. Over the five days of the festival, 1001 events took place, featuring 2,289 artists. ADE truly was an incredible party of epic proportions.

There were a number of arrests at the festival, but for the most part, the event ran smoothly, seeing some great acts and greater crowds. The organizers of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) have declared this year’s event a huge success, having kept 180,000 people dancing at the same time on the busiest night.
