All you need to know about Zedd and his tour of India!

Anton Zaslavski, better known as Zedd is a Russian-German electronic music producer. Anton, born to two musicians is a classically trained musician himself (bet you didn’t know that), who’s journey towards musical supremacy began at the age of 4 when he started learning to play the piano and by the age of 12 progressed to the drums. His musical career started of as the drummer of German band “Dioramic” in 2002, and moved to producing electronic music only in 2009 after being inspired by French Electronic Duo “Justice”.

But his boost to stardom only came when he participated in and won a few online remix contests held by Beatport (the “Armand Van Helden / Strictly Rhythm Remix Contest” and the “Fatboy Slim / Skint Remix Contest”). These wins got this talented young Russian noticed by Dubstep king – Skrillex, who signed him to his label OWSLA.

2012 was a massive year for Zedd, thanks to his debut studio album called ‘Clarity’ which released on 2^nd October 2012. The album which is full of foot stomping beats, dubstep-like breaks and vocals from the likes of Ellie Goulding, Foxes, Mathew & Ryan Tedder, caught the attention of many. The album was so successful thwat he was crowned “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone in 2012 and by MTV in 2013.

In the course of his career Zedd has performed at major festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Hard Summer in Los Angeles and Electric Zoo in New York.

Now the Russian is all set to conquer India:
