Jarrad Seng was hounded by fanatic fans as he strolled at the festival posing as the EDM superstar

After having been mistaken quite a few times for being Steve Aoki, Β Jarrad Seng, a music photographer, decided to play an ingenious prank on unsuspecting festival-goers at Stereosonic, Australia.

“Yeah so I get mistaken for Steve Aoki a LOT. Especially as a photographer working in the music industry (I’ve toured and directed videos for artists like Passenger). It’s been a weekly thing for the past five years… at music festivals, bars, on Instagram… it even happened on the streets of Barcelona once. So the other day when I saw that New York catcall video I wondered what would happen if I did the same thing… but as Steve. At stereosonic. Where he was headlining.”

Dressed in a traditional Aoki outfit and shades, Seng walked through the festival for three whole hours, which resulted in dozens of fans stopping him for hugs, kisses and selfies.

Most reactions to seeing him are pretty hilarious, especially when the real Steve Aoki is on stage even as Seng Β is being high-fived and hugged in the crowd.
