It was tricky to pick names from a line-up as outstanding as this one, but there are those certain acts that you’ll eternally regret if you missed. Here’s the Sherp’s top 8:

1. New World Punx – December 21, Main Stage

This collaboration is probably one of the best things that’s happened to the realm of trance. I mean, two luminaries coming together on stage to give you ecstasy for your ears. What more could you ask for? Apart from the 30 aliases used by Ferry Corsten, he is also a part of over 30 co-productions with other artists. New World Punx happens to be just one of them! Markus Schulz’s presence on stage always induces a lot of ‘scream’ from the crowd.

2. Aly & Fila – December 20, Trance StageΒ

The Egyptian duo never disappoints. ‘We Control the Sunlight’ still resonates in our ears – it’s just one of those tracks which never gets old. Their radio show is fittingly titled ‘Future Sound of Egypt’.

3. Solarstone – December 20, Trance StageΒ

Solarstone is synonymous with the term ‘Pure Trance’. If you consider yourself a trance fanatic and don’t seem to like where most of the trance music is heading today, THIS is for you!

4. Aruna – December 20, Trance StageΒ

It’s not very often you come across a singer whose voice can easily be recognized. Aruna is one of those rare voices. In addition to her vocal prowess, this beautiful lady also writes songs and spins the decks. Men, are you listening?

5. David Guetta – December 20, Main StageΒ

Because it’s Guetta! You’ve danced the night away to his music at all the clubs in your city. Now it’s time to witness it live – at a breathtaking location, under the clear starry sky, and in the midst of the magnificent climate of Aamby Valley. Love him, hate him, or laugh at his memes, but you simply cannot ignore him. His music induces involuntary foot-tapping. Admit it, you were just humming Titanium in your head!

6. Nucleya – December 21, Bass StageΒ

Gear up for some South Indian dubstep fused with seriously bass – heavy trap sounds with the man who blew away audiences at the recently concluded NH7 Weekender.

7. Borgore – December 21, Bass StageΒ

He’s taken the electronic music world by storm with his recently released album #NEWGOREORDER, and this guy knows how to lay it down when you put a pair of mixers in front of him. Check out his Tomorrowworld performance below:

8. Arjun Vagale – December 21, After PartyΒ

India’s number one techno artiste has traveled the globe and released his music on some of the worlds most prized techno labels. His knowledge of the genre and his skills on the decks are second to none, and he will spearhead the roster performing at the festival’s official after party.

The Sherp is waiting in anticipation to catch these artistes and a whole bunch more this weekend! Which artist are you most looking forward to and why? Share with us in the comments below!
