As Mumbai prepares itself for an enthralling journey into the genres of deep house, tech house, techno, progressive with A Day Of sLick!, the single day gathering is shaping up into a fine melting pot of food and music. The Sherp sheds light on the things that make attending A Day Of sLick! a no-brainer:

1. Four international headliners will make their Indian debut

German pioneer Sharam Jey, the vibrant Nora En Pure, Magdalena and UNER will be bringing their sounds to India for the first time ever. You will definitely leave the venue much more musically sound with a much improved sense of appreciation for underground sounds.

2. The local arsenal assembled is pretty impressive

Since its inception, sLick! has always provided a platform for emerging talent across the country. Their Amsterdam Dance Event showcase has exposed India’s hidden talents to a global audience and once again their line-up is decorated with a fine mix of recent bloomers –Β Kusai, TBOM (The Book Of Music), Maulik, Mustafa, Norcotiq and established names such as Ankytrixx, Priyanjana and Nina & Malika.Β Β Below is a dose of what they’re all about:

3. Double DelightΒ

A single wrist band will allow you access toΒ Cafe Zoe andΒ Blue Frog, both of which,Β have a unique decor of their own. The Blue Frog has a more dingy, club-like aura and Cafe Zoe will have a much lighter, serene vibe about it. A perfect yin and yang of experiences has been designed to activate all your senses.

4. Happy Hours

A FIVE hour long happy hour (yes, FIVE) menu has been arranged for between 4.30pm – 9pm, and considering the fact that these are the prime hours of the event, this is way beyond a good deal. Come early, tank up, and keep yourself tuned to all the musical goodness around you.

6. Jeremy Olander is backΒ

Prydz’ prime protege is not unfamiliar with Indian shores and this will be his third performance in the country. Riding the cusp of both the mainstream and the underground, Olander’s technical prowess and live artistry has proven itself time and time again. He was the first DJ to ever be officially endorsed by Prydz, and his career skyrocketed.Β After years of travelling around the world and coming in to his own Olander is now recognized as one of the industry’s leading progressive artists.
