The festival is a highlight for all cheesecake lovers because of the sheer variety it offers when it comes to the delicious dessert. It holds recipe competitions, live music as well as food stalls that serve the most fantastic kinds of food.
5. The Boysenberry Festival, California
The Knott’s Berry Farm holds a kickass berry festival every year and celebrates a unique kind of berry, the Boysenberry (a cross between a blackberry, raspberry and loganberry) created by Walter Knott and Rudolph Boysen. The festival has all kinds of wacky food that you absolutely need to try such as the Fun Bun and chicken and sausage sandwich. But the to-die-for item would have to be the deep fried cheesecake on a stick, the Fun Stick. It’s a cheesecake on a stick that’s dipped in funnel cake batter with boysenberry icing.
