The Exchange is a highly successful international conference based initiative which took place for the second time in Mumbai in December 2015 was planned and delivered to specifically connect the multi genre music industry sectors from India and the UK. TheΒ AVA (Audio Visual Arts) Festival is a ground breaking annual new festival and conference that first took place in Belfast (UK) in May 2015. The Exchange X AVA is delivered in partnership with UK Trade & Investment and Generator NI.Β The conference features leading creative and business specialists from each nation’s music industries and provides a platform to accelerate international networks and partnerships.

One of the pioneers of the EDM scene in India, his early work with Percept and the formation ofΒ his own company Submerge Music have been instrumental in developing the electronic music scene in India. His company has been responsible in bringing the likes Β ofΒ Above & Beyond, Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Deniz Koyu, Armin Van Buuren, Zedd, Hardwell and Tiesto to our doorstep.

 

3. Learn to take your performances to the next levelΒ at the “Audio visual alchemy – making your music work with picture” session.

Avinash Kumar of BLOT! and Kaycee, owner of Pixadoo Visuals will talk about adding visuals to your music and making it a more immersive experience. Visuals are as important as the music itself in today’s multimedia world where audiences are constantly demanding more innovations in the entertainment industry. Upcoming musicians and visual artistsΒ could really benefit from this talk and could probably implement the same in their work taking it a step further.

 

4. The “Getting your music, remixes and productions into the right hands and ears” session is the place to be for all upcoming musicians and producers.

Refining and packaging your music to perfection is an art and any knowledge you get is always helpful. If you’re an aspiring musician or producer, this session could prove to be extremely valuable as some industry bigwigs will be guiding you through the process.Β Presented by Paul Hamill, Co-founder and CEO, Inflyte, speakers will includeΒ Arjun Sankhalia, Director: Publishing & Int’l Music Sony Music Entertainment- India andΒ Munbir Chawla, Co founder/director- Wild City, Founder- City Press.
