There is no other d&b event quite like Rampage. The famous celebration of all things bass takes place in Lommel in Belgium on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd and this year’s goes to three days instead of two. It has six stages total and more than 250 artists from all over the world will play including amongst them the biggest dubstep line-up in EU history.
Away from music there are swimming pools, skate ramps, a big screen cinema, pre and after parties, silent disco and much more. Here are five of the best acts to catch…

A dubstep icon since day one, Caspa served up a pivotal entry into the fabric mix series early on that remains a legendary mix. He has a raw, jump up sound that is high on energy and style and remains one of the boss men of the scene more than a decade after first emerging.

Danny Byrd

This Hospital mainstay is a master of the soulful and rolling grooves. His drum & bass is as stylish and seductive as it comes. He is a real Everton but still has his ear to the underground so expect to hear plenty from across a whole spectrum of sound.

Nicky Blackmarket

This guy has been there since day one. He was a pioneer at the start and remains a real showman with fine skills and finer selections. He will bring his a-game and serve up a real masterclass.

Supported by some of the biggest names in the game, the young Londoner known as Kanine is living up to his potential. His sound is evolving all the time as he moves towards being one of the more versatile artists in the 175 BPM range. Don’t take our word for it, check him out for yourself.

Andy C

He isn’t called the executioner for no reason: Andy C is a DJ who has been plying his trade for decades. He knows how to mix on any format, can lock in records in an instant then set to work on layering in loops, tension, and new grooves. He can do from hard and fast to slow and deep and everything in between and is the very definition of a journeying DJ.
