What makes Lightning In a Bottle one of the greatest festivals? Oh, quite a few things actually. For one, it’s breathtakingly beautiful. Taking place in the Central Coast region of California, the festival is one of the prettiest that we have seen. And not only is it a transformative experience like no other, the festival is also extremely climate conscious. Organised by The Do LaB, LIBΒ seeks to promote sustainability, social cohesion, personal health, and creative expression.
The festival just completed its 2016 edition and we are in love with all the pictures. So we decided to give you a taste of the festival’s atmosphere by compiling some of the best pictures from this year’s LIB. Cheggit!

Let’s get one thing clear. LIB has the most beautiful people we have ever seen.Β These free spirited souls are living the festival life we can only dream of!

The festival art
The festival fosters a very creative climate and this is perfectly exemplified by the beautiful art here. LIBΒ hosts art installations by artists as well as letting attendees create art!
In true LIB fashion, the festival had a gorgeous temple erected out of recyclable materials.

Temple ofΒ Consciousness
And then of course, there is the Temple of Consciousness, a very well known attraction at the festival. The temple holds some of the most kick-ass activities, such as the Dance of Liberation where participants are invited to come and dance blindfolded. Other activities held were yoga, talks on various subjects and meditation seminars.
