ADE Global Sessions Mumbai is approaching very soon, and to get you prepped up for it, here are 11 speakers that you must listen to this weekend!

1. Megan Miller

Burning Man is one of the biggest, and most artsy festivals in the world, and credits go to the people behind the mega celebration in the desert! One of them is Megan Miller, who has been a part of Burning Man since 2012. She’sΒ the director of communications for the festival, and before she came on board, sheΒ spent close to ten years in the public and non-profit sectors working for environmental protection, HIV/AIDS prevention, and the United States Senate. Megan is a part of a panel that willΒ talk about the future of electronic music festivals at ADE Mumbai!

2. Blaise DeAngelo

Blaise DeAngelo joined OWSLA in 2012 and helped Skrillex set up the label during its initial stages. He works as the General Manager for the entire label today. The LA native was the Director of Artist Relations at Grooveshark before this, so Blaise has a wealth of experience in the industry. Sometimes, he also DJs under the name Blaise James. Blaise is going to light ADE Mumbai up with his knowledge on building a career as an artist.

3. Kill The Noise

Jake aka Kill The Noise is a prolific dubstep/bass artist who has seen his career graph go nowhere else but upwards in the last eight years. KTN is an OWSLA mainstay along with What So Not and Wiwek, and makes some of the freshest tracks in the industry. He has collaborated with biggies like Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Feed Me and many more artists in the past, and his Beatport success speaks for itself. Other than his gig at Kitty Su, there’ll be a master class where KTN along with What So Not will talk about their production techniques.

4. Artur Mendes

Artur Mendes was born in 1977 and has been involved in the music scene since the 1990s. He’s a part of the Boom Festival family. The festival itself is a biennial psy extravaganza that features 5 stages and relies only on ticket sales to run the festival, barring sponsors from the scene! Via ADE, he says,Β “Boom’s mission is to provide tools for change. It is not only a festival, it is a way for festivals to show that another world is possible. There is no bigger political action nowadays than make the shift and environment is at its core” Artur will also talk aboutΒ the future of music festivals along with Megan Miller at ADE.

5. Dev Bhatia

Dev BhatiaΒ runsΒ Indian artist booking agency UnMute with DJ/Producer Arjun Vagale, and was the former manager of India’s hottest electronica band, Jalebee Cartel. Dev has been around for the last decade, developing the indie music scene in the country. Dev is a part of a Business Q&A round, where he’ll talk about touring India and Asia as a musician and DJ.

6. Jaideep Singh

As theΒ Senior Vice President and Business Head of Viacom18, Jaideep Singh has a lot on his plate. His span of control includes Live Viacom18, which runs the mammoth Vh1 Supersonic festival and concert series. Jaideep has more than 15Β years of diverse experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Sales and Marketing and extensive awareness of global media trends.

7. Wiwek

The father of Jungleterror, Wiwek’s tracks have been smashing clubs and festivals as of late. His production style can best be described as hard-hitting and unforgiving. The Netherlands native was always surrounded by music: his fatherΒ was a classical musician, and that remains one of Wiwek’s key influences. Wiwek has a master class of his own scheduled at ADE Mumbai, so learn how he produces Jungleterror, right from the horse’s mouth!

8. Ankytrixx

Ankit Kocher has been one of the major propagators in the Indian underground scene. He runs a yearly festival in Goa called CTRL ALT DANCE, that features some of the country’s upcoming and top techno artists. Ankytrixx is always supportive of upcoming talent in the country, and has shared the stage withΒ John Digweed, Dave Seaman, to Guy J, Henry Saiz, Spartaque, Richie Hawtin, 16 Bit Lolitas, Dubfire, Oliver Huntsman, according to Resident Advisor. Ankytrixx will host an interesting workshop titled ‘Mind, Body, Soul and Creativity’ at ADE!

9. Andrew MacKay

Andrew MacKay runs Bohemia Junction, the agency that represents the legendary Abbey Road Studios in the country. Andrew is also aΒ composer, producer, arranger, conductor and DJ, and is also co-founderΒ of the eclectic Bombay Dub Orchestra. along with UK based producer and composer Garry Hughes. Andrew will host a master class, as well as voice his opinions onΒ electronic music inΒ the film industry, only at ADE!

10. Shailendra Singh

The co-founder of the largest festival property in AsiaΒ needs no introduction. Shailendra is the Joint Managing Director of parent company Percept, and has been running Sunburn in Goa and other citiesΒ since 2007. He has conceptualized several ad campaigns in the past, and is a multi-faceted individual. His son, Shaan, also happens to be a rising name in the Indian EDM industry. At ADE Mumbai, Shailendra will address the crowd on how electronic music can make a social difference by bringing classes together.

11. Richard Zijlma

Richard Ziljma is the General Manager of Amsterdam Dance Event, which has itself turned into the world’s biggest club festival over the years. His goal is to promote Amsterdam’s leading festivals and expand ADE’s reach in the world of electronic music. The general manager will open ADE Mumbai along with Shailendra Singh.
