One of India’s stalwarts in dance music, Zaeden will surprise fans at Vh1 Supersonic with a never-before-seen showcase of his immense musicality.
22 year-old, Sahil Sharma aka Zaeden is a regular and widely renowned name in the electronic dance music scene both in India and internationally. What began as a passion-project turned into a serious profession and world fame for the youngster who is famously known for his remixes of Coldplay’s Magic, Maroon 5’s Animals and Don’t Wanna Know, and Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself.
The DJ/Producer will be performing at Vh1 Supersonic, Pune, between 9-11 February, 2018. This will also mark the talented musician’s first ever live set where he will debut as a singer while dropping his sick beats on the console as well. Zaeden is known for his fabulous remixes of the hottest dance tunes, and we get to see his prowess in his debut singing cover of Lauv’s “I Like Me Better” featuring Chevin. ZaedenΒ states, β2018 has just begun on an unbelievable note. I have always grown up in a musically infused atmosphere. Even before getting into dance music I heard my father creating cover versions of Kishore Kumar classics.Β He inspired me to creatively expand when he heard me sing randomly at home and suggested I should record at a professional studio. Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers was also a huge inspiration in this creative process. This is my first cover as a singer and I’m quite excited for my next, which will be a mash-up for Valentines Day. Being a big fan of Lauv, it was an easy decision to pick this song for an acoustic cover, and my good friend and super talented musician Chezin, helped make this a reality.“
Zaeden who is the first Indian DJ to be signed to the world’s biggest dance music label, Music All Star Publishing (Spinnin Records), shot to fame in 2015 when he released his remix of Coldplay’s Magic which won him a dozen accolades including being on the top 10 hits in over 15 countries, with a #1 spot in Lebanon. The single also went on to be aired on Hardwell On Air and Smash The Radio. Zaeden was awarded as the best house DJ by MyFav Awards and is also a trend setter having being featured on GQ Best Dressed 2016 List and Mens XP “Top 50 Indians Who Defined Fashion In 2016” List.
