Just a month after releasing his long-awaited joint project with Birdman, NBA Youngboy had announced that another new project will be dropping. The NBA Youngboy Colors mixtape was released on Friday, January 14th featuring all-new music.
NBA Youngboy had already released several songs from the project since the top of the year. He had dropped “Fish Scale” along with its music video 2 weeks ago. A new song, “Emo Love” was released earlier this week as well. A couple days later an animated music video was also released to support it.
“Foolish Figure” dropped on Sunday and it already has over 2 million views on YouTube.
The most recent single is “Bring The Hook” where he disses the ‘ O-block’ which was revealed shortly after the cover art was released for the NBA Youngboy Colors mixtape.
YoungBoy is currently on house arrest, in Utah, as he was able to post bail for two separate cases. Kentrell is no stranger to the laws, having had several run-ins since 2016. Despite all of this, his music has been incredibly successful. His last album, Sincerely, Kentrell, made it to Number 1 on the Billboard charts, even with the rapper being incarcerated when it was released, a feat which was previously accomplished by 2 Pac and Lil Wayne only.
