Omnia and Beltek will be performing in Mumbai on New Year’s Eve at the ‘Around The Globe’ celebrations in Juhu. Both these artists have risen to fame over the last couple of years and are taking over the dance music scene. The Sherp gets you better acquainted with both these rising stars!
OMNIA
This 26-year-old Ukrainian makes you fall in love with him the moment you listen to ‘The Fusion’. His peculiar boyish charm makes him look even younger than he is! Although his music can be defined as trance, Omnia is a big fan of trip-hop and Brit-pop, and even enjoys drum ‘n’ bass! He spends most of his time in the studio and confesses that he’s not very fast when it comes to production. He would rather take a week or even a month to work on one track than release something hastily.
He’s made that quite clear with these tracks that sound like absolute perfection:
And here’s a fun fact – Omnia says that The Chemical Brothers are the reason he started making music and called them ‘the best electronic band ever’ in an interview!

If you’re looking for someone to belt out some swinging tunes, Beltek is the answer! ‘Beltek’ is actually his middle name. Martin βBeltekβ BijeliΔ produces tracks that never disappoint. His sound is an amalgamation of tech, house and progressive. Over the years, this powerhouse has recorded tracks and albums for Ministry of Sound, Black Hole, Toolroom, Armada Music and several others!
Pete Tong loved his track ‘Copacabana’ so much, that he crowned Beltek ‘New Producer of the Year’ in his competition. Beltek has also produced the official track Party Voice for Ultra Music Festival 2012. The Sherp picks some of his must-hear tracks and remixes:
