A company called bassAware just came out with an invention that sounds absolutely amazing. Currently being tested out, this subwoofer, dubbed ‘Drop’, can be worn like a backpack and connected to a pair of excellent headphones. You can literally turn on the party anywhere with this genius contraption!
It doesn’t just sound like a party, it even feels like one – replicating the vibration you’d feel from the bass at any music festival. “The device uses a tactile transducer placed on your upper back β this is a special type of audio driver creating vibration rather than soundβ¦the result is an immersive bass experience that no one but you can hear or feel,β says the video on Drop’s crowdfunding page.Β It doesn’t look like it’ll take very long to gather the funds required, but if you want to help out and can’t wait for it to hit the market, you can contribute too!
