Tyler the creator is probably one of the most talented artists in the entire music industry right now, he has this quality of using his heavy vocals seamlessly with smooth soul tracks which most of the rappers out there can’t even think of doing.

His last project was the peak of his career some say, but they might be wrong because ‘Call me if you get lost in a great project as well, and probably the best album of this year. The album can’t be any more relevant as Tyler talks about traveling in the album and creates a great atmosphere to put forth his point. The traveling themes become even better after this post-pandemic world!

The instrumentals on this project are really great, and the DJ DRma aad-libs in the tracks add an extra roughness to the track making it a hype song! Tyler is much more comfortable in the album, we can see him using different vocal inflections perfectly, not saying that on IGOR’s tracks Tyler was holding back or anything, but on Call me if you get lost he’s riding the beats smoothly!

He has taken a couple of features this time and put these artists totally outside their comfort zone. NBA Younboy for example sounds the best on the album, he doesn’t even sound so good on his own songs! And the Lil Uzi and Pharell Williams track are out of this world. Every song on this album has great transitions, the instrumentals are great, and Tyler is rapping hard, his lyrics have never been better.

The project suits the legacy Tyler is creating right now, Flower boy, IGOR and now Call me if you get lost, all these albums will be known as the greatest from Tyler.
