The highly anticipated mega-camping music festival One Tribe stands cancelled.

Earlier this year, when news of One Tribe Festival was announced by ID&T and SFX Entertainment. residents of southern California had much to cheer about, as the festival promised the ultimate music/camping experience.

One Tribe was planned to take place during the end of September at Lake Perris in Riverside County and was advertised to be a camping retreat of yoga, music and spirituality, performers inclusive of Kygo and Damian Lazarus. However this Tuesday, organizers announced that event had been “indefinitely postponed.”

Jacob Smid, managing director of SFX Live North America said :

“We had an ambitious plan to bring an innovative and unique experience built around the spirit of community, art and music to an amazing venue in Southern California. Unfortunately, disappointing ticket sales put us in a position of choosing between compromising our vision and the overall experience at One Tribe, or cancelling it.”

It is now rumoured that SFXE – a company that produces a bunch of other top-grossing festivals might be on the verge of bankrupcy as the company’s stock has lost more than 80 per cent of its value this past year, which happened when the company failed to seal a deal that would make the company a private one. In lieu of that the company has been facing some staggering loses and are almost $295 million in debt.

We just home SFXE other festivals don’t face the same fate!
