TIMEOUT 72 is going to hit the festival circuit in less than 10 days and we are psyched.
Scheduled to go down at Vagator, Goa, from the 27th to 29th of December 2017, TIMEOUT 72 has lined up some pretty incredible experiences for its attendees. Starting with a line-up that is heavy on star power, the festival has announced that it will be going fully cashless for its debut showcase. TIMEOUT 72’s closed-loop cashless payment system, via the RFID-enabled TIMEOUT 72 band, will ensure fast, efficient and secure on-site purchases with 100% uptime and more than 10 refill stations spread across the festival venue. And what more, the unspent money on the RFID card will be refunded back to the guest’s bank account subject to the festivals refund policy. So guests can refill their bands without worrying about losing the unspent money.
Argha Chatterjee, Director, TIMEOUT 72 states, “Cashless payment is the future and will to elevate patron experiences, increase bottom lines and efficiencies to a great extent. With this new implementation, transactions will be incredibly fast, significantly reducing queues and enabling guests to spend more time enjoying the melodic festivities and not worrying about their valuables being misplaced. All transactions are also digitally recorded with email notifications of each transaction sent to registered guests. Our guests are our number one priority and we will ensure all measures adopted only benefit our guests, making the experience worthwhile”
Intellitix, the leading providers of RFID-based cashless payments, will be in charge of the bands. Having providing the cashless experience to the world’s best festivals and events including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Tomorrowland, The Ryder Cup, and Taste Food Festivals, you can be assured that the cashless system is going to be state-of-the-art and the best of its kind.
After all, Water Lemon Events LLP and Sudarshan Entertainment World have been successful in roping in creditable names in the business to overlook different aspects of the festival. So be prepared to be have your mind-blown.
Stay tuned to the Sherp for updates.
