2017’s most buzz-worthy music festival, TimeOut72 is back for its second edition, to happen in Mumbai on 29th December, 2018.Β
Debuted in 2017, TimeOut72, which was host to international super-acts such as Martin Garrix,Β Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo, Timmy Trumpet, and more, will be making its much anticipated return in 2018, just not in Goa this time around. The initially 3-day music festival will now be held over a single day in a boutique arena format in Mumbai. The festival is scheduled for the 29th of December and will have a futuristic theme in the form of ‘Cyberpunk City’.
For fans of Bladerunner 2049 and Altered Carbon, this theme will surely be familiar and a euphoric way to experience the music festival.
A spokesperson for Timeout Global Entertainment states, βWe intentionally decided to re-brand the festival as a touring IP so that we can appeal to a wider demographic of music enthusiasts and broaden our imprint. We intend to run a series of mini concerts in different cities within India and possibly even in countries abroad over the next 5 years as a prelude to multiple day format festivals in the respective host cities. Our vision is to ensure Timeout is notΒ synonymous with a venue or a date but the only constant take away element will be the inclusive fan experience. ‘Timeout 002: Cyberpunk City’ will provide our fans a unique state of the art experience which will involve not only some of the most energetic and big named artists but also plenty of special performers and installations.β
Venue and artist details are yet to be announced, but based on last year, we’re expecting a massive lineup this time around too.
