The Eyemyth Festival showcases four main divisions Art, Entertainment, Animation, and Manga.
Eyemyth is a festival of art, entertainment and new media expressions. Presenting a special edition of the Japan Media Arts Festival, the event will last 3 days (February 19 to 21). The festival will feature works, performances and workshops by Japanese artists who are progressing the frontier of new media expression. EyeMyth is also showcasing an indie gaming playstation and gaming art exhibition as well as early Indian animation screenings. The festival will be held across the historical Sitara Studios, Edward Cinema and the True School Of Music (Entry is free for all). Attendees can benefit by learning details about the process behind various audio visual art and experience it firsthand.
The Japan Media Arts Festival was started in 1997 as a comprehensive festival of Media Arts that honors outstanding works from a diverse range of media – from animation and comics to media art and games. The festival gives awards in each of its four divisions: Art, Entertainment, Animation, and Manga. It also provides a platform for appreciation of the award-winning and other notable works through other events, such as symposiums, screenings, and showcases.
