Vir Das’ Weirdass Comedy bring back India’s first large scale comedy festival back this January; expands to Pune and Delhi as well.
The second edition of India’s prime comedy festival is set for a blistering return this January, and this time, they’ve programmed something bigger and better. The festival will expand to Pune and Delhi this year, and will feature India’s best comedians and a splendid line-up of international performers.
A roaring success in it’s debut single-city edition last year, the festival is enterprising attempt by Weirdass Comedy and OML to bring together comic resources of the country on a larger scale that was is already prevalent. This year they’ve announced a 3-city takeover, over 2 weekends with 120 shows. Tickets will be available for sale December 15 onwards and this is all we have at the moment.
