Last weekend, black magic and BPM collided in the Bermuda Triangle to create a music experience like no other. Over three action-packed days BACARDÍ Triangle delivered poolside sets from world-class DJs, a spectacular Black Magic Halloween party headlined by AC Slater and a handpicked artist line up in an island right in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. Out of the 1862 people, BACARDÍ flew in selected Indian fans to the resort to experience this debut musical adventure first hand!
It’s safe to say Bacardi established itself as ‘Untameable’ with this class apart festival. To give you an idea of what took place, here’s summary of all the exciting things that took place at the festival
1. First things first, the flight there was pretty damn awesome
Each flight (flying out of 3 locations – New York, London & Los Angeles) came with a lot of on-board entertainment and a expert mixologist serving up some of the best Bacardi Cocktails. A perfect way to start off a music travel adventure.
2. This was your view for three days straight
Imagine three days of sun, sand, music in the midst of some fantastic company.
3. Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris were ‘untameable’
Ellie Goulding kicked the evening off with an hour long set jammed with infectious hits from her multi-million selling album Halcyon. ‘Burn’ and ‘Anything Can Happen’ were stand out tracks from a stand out performance. Unarguably one of the best rappers in the world right now, Kendrick Lamar, had the crowd in a frenzy from the second he took to the stage. As the opening refrain of new single ‘I’ dropped, the shaking of the island beneath the crowd’s feet was unmistakable.
As midnight approached the excitement from the crowd was palpable. Calvin Harris, the biggest and highest paid DJ/ Producer in the world, appeared on stage to the greatest roar of the weekend. 18 Months and its string of monumental hit singles was accompanied by an audio visual show typical for festivals of 100,000, but here it was for an exclusive group of 1,862.
4. El Conquistador was an excellent host
Spectacular view, great delights during 3 days/ nights of splendour and extravagance
5. The management was on point
As a debut attempt, big ups to BACARDI for the top notch management at the event. Entering the festival was pretty hassle and queue free thanks to RFID wristbands for every individual.
6. The Halloween party looked like a scene out of the Pirates of Caribbean
Headlined by AC Slater and slew of handpicked artistes, the Black Magic Halloween party saw 1862 dressed in their best Halloween fare, who in turn danced into the wee hours of the night.
7. The fireworks were the proverbial icing on the cake
Lighting up the sky and the whole island of Palomino, the fireworks show was euphoric.
