The Imphal festival will return for another edition at it’s beautiful riverside venue.

The North East of India is renowned for it’s warm people and scintillating landscape and is quickly turning into a prime location for music festivals in the country. The recent NH7 Weekender expansion to Shillong has turned a lot of heads in this direction, and the River Bank Music Festival looks like another one to jot down in the bucket list.

 

The event is spearheaded by the Imphal based Indie-Rock band The Dirty Strikes guitarist Tom Maisnam to create a movementΒ towards the saving of rivers from the local population.Β Popular folk-rock bands of the including the Imphal Talkies, The Koi and Mangka will be performing at the festival.
