The Reggae Jam is a reggae festival held annually in Lower Saxony, Bersenbrück Germany. The festival took place in 1994 for the first time. The Reggae Jam is compared to less than the other major European reggae festivals, such as the Rototom Sunsplash or Summerjam Festival. In recent years the number of visitors, however, steadily increased and also the artists are known, as in previous years, as the Reggae Jam continued mainly on a few stars and many, mainly German, newcomer. In readerpoll magazine Riddim took the Reggae Jam 2005, 2006 and 2007 and ranked second among the festivals. In the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, it managed the Festival five times successively elected as the best reggae festivals in Germany at #1 of the reader polls.
