Penn Masala are set to release their latest album Yuva and tour Indian cities!
Penn Masala’s music is a breath of fresh air with Eastern and Western cultures’ influences which also shows the diversity of the group members!ย Theย world’s first and premier South Asian a cappella group, Penn Masala was formed in 1996 by the students of University of Pennsylvania.
They brought the sounds of the Indian subcontinent to a cappella,ย and have been excelling at their fusion music, which is sung without any instrumental accompaniment! Now, they are back with their 6th tour to India in May, 2017! The cities and dates have not been announced yet, so brace yourselves for when the curtain lifts!

Having performed at the White House, the Indian Filmfare Awards, and for Ban Ki-moon and Mukesh Ambani, Penn Masala have left no stone unturned with their musical prowess! Their original compositions and fusions of Hindi- English songs is a delight for the ears and no wonder, they are popular for it!
The group has releasedย nine full-length albums: Awaaz, 11 PM, Soundcheck, The Brown Album, Pehchaan, On Detours, Panoramic, Kaavish, Resonance, and the compilation album Out of Stock. Now, for their tenth album, Yuva which will be out on April 21st,ย the group seems as excited as the rest of us!
