When Bob Moog introduced the world to the Minimoog D, he had a clear picture in his mind β createΒ an electronic musical instrument which sounds beyond the realm of its acoustic brethren. Sounds that would power electronic musicΒ for generations to come and create new genres of music that were both unimaginable and outrightΒ radical at the time. 45 years later, the festival of Synthfest, brought to you by SOUND.COM,Β will celebrate what synthesizers are to theΒ world β a means to communicate music in a way that wouldnβt quite be possible without them.
This idio’synth’cratic festival will feature some of the best synths in the world and an interactive environment that allows the attendees to converse freely with the artists.
