Citizens of Mumbai, rejoice! The metropolitan city will get its first-ever food truck festival at High Street Phoenix, and it’s called Food Truck Square!

FTS is a collaboration between The Food Truck Association (TFTA), Mumbai Foodie and OPA Hospitality, and will feature Lebanese, Mexican and American food on offer. It’ll also feature a live grafitti artist creating an installation to promote the city’s ever-evolving street food culture.

FoGo, Paninaro and Lalit will have their food trucks at Phoenix, among several other participants. According to Firstpost, average prices for the food on offer should be about Rs. 100 to Rs. 200, which is pretty reasonable in our opinion.

Food trucks do exist in Mumbai but an entire event for food trucks has never taken place in the city, so it’s good that someone is taking an initiative to promoteΒ the food truck culture in Mumbai.
